Hi, I’m Christen.  You want me on your trivia team.

I started this blog in the summer of 2008 - when I was newly single and life was crazy - as a way to write daily, found that I enjoyed it, and have kept it up.  It’s like therapy but without the hassle of having to wear pants.  Now you’re wondering if I write this pants-less, aren’t you?  It’s OK.  I would wonder the same thing too. 

I live in Northern California with my husband (as of October 1, 2010), Ed, and our Boston Terrier, Molly.   We are the kinds of assholes who refer to ourselves as “Mommy” and “Daddy” with her. 

My likes include references to 80′s sitcoms, John Hughes movies, cheese, pretty scarves, taco trucks, and Jon Stewart.  My dislikes are raw tomatoes, excessive cologne or perfume, people who are mean to animals, stepping on ginko berries, cold feet, and anyone touching my eyeball.

An ideal day would include good food, good wine, good friends and a nap.
